(Historical Society headquarters since 1937)

The Historical Society of Fort Washington is a non-profit educational institution. Our headquarters, the Clifton House, hosts monthly meetings for our member with educational programs, a library with a wealth of books about our area and a museum.

The Clifton House is leased from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The premises are situated within Montgomery County's Fort Washington State Park, which is under the auspices of the Bureau of State Parks.

We hope to see you at a future Society meeting or event!
